F.A.Q

Colors / finish
If you'd like to know if we can make a piece in a color other than the ones in the listings, please send us a message before buying :-)  You can find our color chart here.
If there's a piece that has a matte finish but you'd like it to be shiny...no problem if you're willing to pay for a paint job to make it shiny. Also works the other way around, of course :) Same as with colors, get in touch before buying to discuss details. And just a heads up: if you order something that's cast in a color other than black, there's always a small chance that there might be some small black imperfections in the cast cuz no matter how well we clean our molds, you can't get them 100% clean. Fact is that about 90% of the pieces we cast are black...
It doesn't always happen of course... but it can and we like to be honest about everything.

What size is *insert item*?

All details inc sizing are in each listing :)

How can I leave a review for the piece I got from you?
Simply go to the item page you bought the piece on, scroll down to the reviews.
You can leave one there (and even attach a photo to it if you like!) :) Thanks in advance. <3

How much is shipping to *insert country*?
Put the piece(s) you want in the basket and use the shipping calculator on the basket page. IF your country isn't there, feel free to contact us. We *may* ship there :) . Some countries however we just don't ship to due to various issues with them.

I don't have a Paypal account and just want to pay with my Credit or Debit Card. Can I do that?
Yup :)

Can I pay in installments / do you do split payments?
We can't offer that BUT you can apply for Paypal credit when checking out (after logging in to Paypal) instead of selecting your credit/debit card or bank account as funding source. You can also do some research on it before buying, it's on Paypal's website. Last time we checked (March 2018), they offered 4 months at 0% if you're approved (in the UK) and 6 months at 0% (in the US) . :-) This isn't available in all countries and only to private/non business accounts. Just look at what's available to you when selecting the payment method or by going to their website before you buy. If you have any questions about this or its availability to you, get in touch with Paypal as it has nothing to do with us. Thankies.

Got any tips for putting on cowls, gauntlets, facemasks...?
Check out the "how to's & colors" section on our website :)
We show there how WE like to do things (personal preference/what we find works best for US). Everything you do is obviously at your own risk.

How can I order one of your small eye masks?
Please read http://tigerstonefx.com/eye-mask-mailing-list

How long will it take until my item is ready?
Estimated times are quoted in each listing. Times may get adjusted depending on how busy we are. So they might not be the same (for example) a week after you have ordered.
The quoted time at time of ordering is what applies to your order.
If there's a banner at the top of our shop (we will do this when we take time off work, are sick or *insert anything else that could require times to be extended*) the time mentioned there will have to be added on to the time that's quoted in the listing.
Read more about this in our T&C's and the listing of the piece you would like.

I've seen you're working on *insert new piece name*, how can I get one of these?
We usually post photos of our new pieces in progress on social media. If we haven't posted any pics of it being finished, it's not finished/available yet.

How can I find out what’s new/ what you’re working on at the moment / if a new project I’ve seen you post about has been finished?
Make sure to follow us on Instagram and give our Facebook page a like and click “add to interests list” as well because Facebook won’t show you all of our updates otherwise. We’re also on TwitterDeviant ArtPinterest and Tumblr. :)

Where can I see photos of people wearing your work?
Check out the “Gallery” on our website (don't have time to update that a lot to be honest, it's been a while :-/) and posts from visitors on our Facebook page.
You'll find the most pics on our Instagram profile @TigerStoneFX (--> click the section in our profile that shows you pics people have tagged us in) and #TigerStoneFX on Instagram as well.

Do you take on custom commissions (new pieces that we haven't created yet)?

--> Please send us a message with what exactly you’d like us to make for you, when you need it by and what your budget is. We’ll then let you know what we can do for you / if we can help.  Custom commissions for: cowls start at £850, gauntlets start at the same, helmets at £1k, small face masks £150, chest emblems at £85, larger masks like the size of a Batwoman mask for example at £350 (we can make more things of course but we can't list every type of costume piece here ;-) ) -- We also don't always have time to take on custom commissions and can't take on everything because we're just 2 people and have to use our time effectively. We plan months ahead when it comes to new projects and are generally very busy. Please keep that in mind and get in touch WELL ahead of the date you'd like it for :)

Tips for care of an unpainted urethane rubber piece
Some people like to use a mild dish soap and water to clean their unpainted urethane rubber pieces, some use "Armor-All" dashboard wipes (they make them in matt and glossy), some like "poor boys natural look" to keep their pieces looking nice. There's more out there...
Do some research/experimenting and use what you like best :)

We recommend keeping cowls and helmets on a stand. Wooden kitchen towel/toilet roll holders work great for us, we put styrofoam balls on top of them (and a piece of upholstery foam in the top of cowls if the piece requires it...to not have the styrofoam ball put a bump in the top of the head). Effective and cheap :-D.

Oh and....obviously keep all your pieces away from heat sources and don't store them in sunlight. Rubbers and resins don't like that.

Do you guys do tutorials on how to make things?
Nope :) Google is your friend. You’ll find everything you want to know on there.
